Types of Membership
Active Membership
Annually
- An individual who has completed the educational requirements to be a pharmacist is eligible for active membership.
- An active member shall be entitled to all rights and privileges which shall include the right to vote, hold office and serve on committees and shall be eligible for the services of the Association.
- Includes membership categories: Regular Active, Academic, Joint (spouse/partner of Regular Active), and Out-of-State
New Practitioner
Annually
- An individual is eligible if applying within two (2) years of completing the requirements to be a pharmacist.
- The member shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of Active membership.
- The eligible time and dues structure of a New Practitioner is determined by the Board of Directors.
Retired Membership
Annually
- An individual who has been but is no longer actively engaged in the practice of pharmacy, who is at least sixty-five years of age or disabled, and who has previously been an active member in good standing.
- Such membership shall have all rights and privileges of active membership.
- This provision shall not negatively impact the status, rights or privileges of any member who may be currently designated as a retired member.
